\nSunrise after the Storm<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\n

Dark sky shatters, in shards at last
\nYour sudden brilliance pierces,
\nScatters blackness and broken thought,
\nSets the spectral horizon ablaze.<\/p>\n

Your luminous kisses brush
\nLeaden bruised cheeks, so hurt
\nTouching, lighting afire \u2013
\nSparking slivers of blue promise.<\/p>\n

You have come for me after all
\nAnd given me this,
\nIn airy paper and nimbus ribbon \u2013
\nUnmistakable hope.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Angel of Dark and Fire<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\n

My angel most certainly
\ndwells in darkness and fire.
\nShe my assigned warrior
\nbattles night and chaos.<\/p>\n

She lives in the crags
\nbetween asleep and awake.
\nSword glinting, eyes a
\nsteely might in my favor.<\/p>\n

Born fire from Fire
\nshe is of the Fire I love.
\nYou, set in my heart,
\nset as a seal, burning.<\/p>\n

You encircle me, you
\nmake flame her buckler.
\nWhy should I fear?
\nShe prevails, powerful
\nsentry in this world; yet
\nshe dissolves, forceful
\nmagnet to the next.<\/p>\n

Darkness is yet light
\nin that kingdom.
\nA temporary blindness
\nwhich opens wide.<\/p>\n

My angel stands in
\ndivine darkness,
\nthe black hole of
\nher unseen weight
\ncompels, urges me
\ninto lightness, a
\nsurrender to brightness.<\/p>\n

In her there is no fear.
\nI long for such wings.
\nReaching sightless
\nmy embrace meets
\nthe alchemy of
\nyour Fire. Cares forgotten,
\nI take flight.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
