\n

rising overhead, the sun basks and
\nbakes the people milling about the square.
\na parade weaves through the streets,
\ncreating a pandemonium of thrills and
\nenchanting music
\nmarketplace revealing like a revolving
\nforum, addressing freedom of speech,
\namid people of all colors, ages and creeds.
\ncrowd\u2019s heart and voice beating and
\nsinging like a rock n\u2019 roll love song.<\/p>\n

crowd embodies peacefulness and
\ntranquility like the opaqueness
\nand sparseness of clouds populating the
\nblue sky. chaos among children and adults,
\nbalances out and is in harmony,
\nescaping life\u2019s throes and pitfalls,
\notherwise apart from the ransoms of life.<\/p>\n

Steven Jacobson<\/strong> was born and raised in the Midwest. He has attended multiple classes at the Loft Literary Center, including all levels of creative writing.
